The details and designs of your day don't have to end at the reception. They can be carried into the "Just Married" sign for the car. Doesn't it look great on this car? What ways are you carrying the details of your colors or theme throughout your event?

Event details: Aisle Style Bridal Show recap
A couple weeks ago we showcased our designs at the Baltimore Magazine Aisle Style Bridal Show. It was great to meet so many excited brides and chat about the details on this tablescape. The finished creation all started with an inspiration board. We designed the favor boxes with pink rosettes on the top, menu tags that were tied around the napkins, a circular table number, a bride and groom chair sign and a matching invitation suite.
I love pulling together inspiration from our clients (in this case from the table designer Bradshaw Styling) that capture the feel of their event. How are you capturing the look and feel of your next event?

keepsake guest book
I'm always looking for create ways my brides can create a guest book that is truly a keepsake. Here's an idea: Family tree with your guests finger prints. Each guests signs their name next to their finger print. Maybe you have a family member who can draw or paint a tree for you. All the more reason to frame and hang on your wall. Do you have a great idea for keepsake guestbook?

Recycled Favor Tags
Loving these 100% recycled GP plantable heart tags from Green Post on Etsy. Each tag is unique and individually made with a screen and then shaped and hand-cut into a heart and measures approx. 3" in circumference. They have a quilted like appearance and the seeds are visible giving the tags loads of visual appeal! They have been triple pressed, hot pressed and dried indoors to preserve the color. All the content is 100% recycled.

Party with a Purpose!

Last Sunday I attend Sara and Brigg's "Party with a Purpose" put on by Connect The Dots Events. It was a great event and who doesn't like to party when there is a great cause involved. Over 2000lbs of non-perishable food was donated at the event for the local Food Pantry. Thanks to Sara for asking us to design the save the date magnets, invitations, name tags, vendor thank you board and the design for the reusable bags that were given as gifts.

8 Cool Chalkboard-Inspired Finds
"School might be out for summer, but the chalkboard look is definitely still "in"... at least when it comes to entertaining! There's something classic (and nostalgic) about the familiar white-on-slate design, but the added functionality is what makes this trend extra-special. Check out these cool chalkboard-inspired finds:"

1. Chalk Talk Glassware Set ($15.96 / set of 4 pint glasses)
It's a glass and a drink marker all in one! I've seen this look on plastic cups before, but never on real glassware... until now!
2. Chalk Talk Glass Storage (Sale: $3.96 - $4.99 ea)
The product page states: "Chalk one up for whoever designed this clever kitchen storage." I concur! These handy jars come with white chalk so you can label, erase, and re-label as you see fit.
3. Chalk Board Mug ($10)
Write a fun message on this chalk board mug to brighten up a loved one's morning... or your own! Great gift idea, and one of those gifts that keeps on giving (at least until you run out of chalk!).

4. Chalkboard Napkin Rings (Sale: $34.95/set of 4)
The simple, understated design of these napkin rings/reusable place cards is just one of the attributes that makes them so appealing. The fact that they're meticulously crafted in workshops for the physically challenged in Germany is another factor, and their current price tag of $34.95 (down from the regular $65) doesn't hurt either!
5. Rococo Oval Chalkboard ($36)
Who says a chalkboard has to include an actual "board"? This pretty rococo-inspired chalkboard decal from Wall Candy is here to prove otherwise. Also available in a rectangular rococo shape, these removable, reusable, adhesive-backed chalkboard decals are sure to pretty up that grocery list!
6. Chalkboard Recycle Bin (Sale: $38)
From shoes to pet toys to recyclable newspapers & bottles, these storage bins are perfect for all sorts of odds and ends. Chalk included. (Currently on sale from $55 to $38)
